Rebooked

They have cancelled like four flights where I was this morning. The Finnair flight I had, was cancelled because of the strike. On Wednesday, I was rebooked to an airFrance flight, leaving at 10AM. I woke up at 5 today and had a sms saying that it was cancelled. One hour later I managed to talk to the travel agency and book a Lufthansa flight. While I was talking, I got an email, saying that the Finnair flight was back. So I cancelled the Lufthansa and came for tge Finnair one. In the airport, they tell me that Finnair is cancelled but that I can take airFrance. When I get to the airFrance counter, is too late (9:30) as the flight was leaving at 10:15.

Finnair has paid me a Lufthansa ticket and hopefully, I'll be able to get it now, if the counter finally opens. If everything goes as planned, I'll be in Stk at 23:30, but at this point, I wouldn't be surprised out of another cancellation...

Seoul - Unesco World Heritage

Apparently, the city is FULL of WH sites. My sightseeing here proved it!

On Sunday, I started by the biggest Palace in town, Gyeongbok-gung(경복궁,景福宮), which unfortunately... Was closed for renovations or that's my guess after seeing this:

So I took a walk to the next stop, Changdeok-gung(창덕궁,昌德宮) which was built before and, while smaller, had a lot more charm than the previous.

The best airplane bite ever

Leave off

Up in the air.

8:45 - Wake up in the frozen hood, right on time to take the commuter train to Bromma.

9:40 - Here we are, ready to go!

10:15 - Our 70's plane.

..ready...
...steady...

Leave off!!

Bromma airport.
City hall - lower left corner.
Gamla Stan
Söder.
HOME ^_^
Djurgården - the green lung

All over control.

Almost 600ft (1800m) quite high, HUH?

Let me take you to the archipielago.
Stockholm is surrounded by rocky islands over which forest spreads… All over.
Back to the city - says the captain.
Kista, where we work! Can you see my building, the one with the crack?

Ready for landing - no, you DON'T NEED TO SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE :D

Up in the air, sólo hay paz y libertad. Maybe life ain't as easy or maybe is just that we don't think it is.

Realidad.

Sparkle.

- Hey Claudia, nice jumper!
- Thanks, I like to shine ^_^

Matt me cae bien. Witty & funny & charming on his manner.

DESPEGAMOS!!!

The positive spiral

I woke up today… Exhausted.

- Don't look sad sweetheart, today's gonna be a great day! Your sneakers will arrive, your doctor will call and your knees will heal… No, you won't loose all the weight at once, but who cares? Step by step.

He was right.

My doctor called and I told her that pursuing the HRT was NOT an option for me. I'm tired of such extreme treatment for menopausic women. It's too much and likely to cause me cancer on the long run - not exaggerating man, too much estrogen and there it comes. So, we'll switch to Yaz. If all the others can, so do I. Taken the first one, we'll see how it goes.

The sneakers arrived and I went to pick them, right after the appointment with the chiropractor. It was funny. I had been trying to get an appointment with no success, they weren't even picking the phone. But. Around 14:00, she called me, announcing a cancellation with my guy, for 15:15. I was so happy, could do nothing but accept and leave the building med gott om tid. Some needles, massage and squats after, he gave me his diagnose. And fell on me like a rock: Runner's knee. No surgery needed but… You need to: Take it easy. Rest. Do some exercises to strengthen the area. Rest. Walk a bit. Rest. Do general strength training to strengthen the muscles around it.

He put the pink bands on my knees and pointed out how arched my feet were - so it might be a great idea to buy special soles, for added support in the hole.

I don't know. I panicked. Went straight home and started eating. Anxiety dipped on food. It had been a long time since I had a crisis like that. It felt awful. But well, after a while, I realized that it wasn't a drama unless it occurs again. So, now I got a new fight. Walk, strengthen, be patient, don't panic. Everything will be fine, as long as I dream myself healed in all senses.

Dare to dream, make it happen. Kick a positive spiral off and drive you on the right direction.
