Dogs in Tokyo are lucky animals. Not only they go to their hairdresser more than me, wear the latest fashions and avoid walking because of traveling in baby car look-a-like.
They don't even need to pee in trees, like dogs all over the world. Just like the Japanese have their shower toilets, dogs have the shower tree. Which is actually a metal bar, with a button. So the smell is rinsed off, for the next one to use, without pressure :)
