Fakarava: Havaiki Village
In our last day in Fakarava, we really wanted to rent a bike. Even though I don't quite know how to ride. All where taken in our pension, so we walked to the next and the next and the next one.
We passed by houses that collect rain water to drink from it.
And eventually, arrived to paradise. Because in Havaiki Village, there are many many bikes, which are completely free, for guests. Only.
Still, you can buy a drink and enjoy the in-water tables. I mean. How cool is that?
Hands down THE PLACE TO BE. By same price as any other spot, just harder to get a room (as it's obvious, this is very popular among locals).
Also, opens up for my second favorite Polynesian hobby - chasing crabs!
Look at the purple colors in this bad boy. Amazing.
Like the vibe. Amazing.
Kajaks, SUP, surf-boards. It has everything for a perfect vacation.
