Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba.

Posing with Gundam, the robot, is a mandatory stop when visiting Odaiba island in Tokyo.

Doraemon, your childhood hero.
Discovering the Otaku side of Japan from the sweetest hand... Thanks Yoko!
Chillin' in Hello Kitty's summer house.

What do robots, anime fans, Doraemon, Hello Kitty, a theme park, crazy shopping, the statue of Liberty & the biggest firework event have in common? Odaiba「お台場」。It is an artificial island that we've mentioned sometimes. Separated from the city through the Rainbow Bridge, one can easily get there by either walking through the bridge (and enjoying the scenic views from the Tokyo Bay) or taking the Yurikamome Line (and trying what a monorail among skyscrapers feels like) or the Rinkai Line (conveniently available at Shinjuku, Shibuya and our home hood, Ebisu). To find the most convenient rout, please check hyperdia typing "Tokyo Teleport" as destination (for the Rinkai) or Daiba as well as Aomi or any other, depending where you go see MAP (for the Yurikamome)
Stay tuned, for some all-japanese things which you can only find here. Soon coming back with more.
