Broadband Everywhere.

This report shared by a great company, tells a myriad interesting things.

However, there are 3 mayor takeouts for me - and the country I come from:

1) Doubling the Broadband Speed increases the GDP by 0,3%.
2) 80 new jobs are created for every 1000 new broadband connections
3) For every 10% increase in broadband penetration, the GDP growth is around 1%

But if you carefully analyze this picture, on mobile broadband usage during daily commute it's easy to see that Spanish people drive - instead of using public transportation to work. The distance is not an argument, when Enrique spends 40' to get to his office in Yokohama - which is in another prefecture.

So please. As any country that grows should invest more on public transportation, it is maybe a good moment for you to improve your mobile broadband this Xmas. Connectivity is the best tool for personal, professional and national growth.
