Moorea Tropical Garden

Located in the East edge of Ōpūnohu Bay, right before entering Cooks Bay, Moorea Tropical Garden is a lovely spot to start the day with a smoothie and some local jam, take a walk around the exotic flora or just watch the nice view from the slightly elevated hill where it is located.

There was a Wedding celebration when we visited. Hence the hectic pineapple chopping behind the back door.

A quick look at the bay clearly summarizes what Tahiti lagoon magic is all about. Shallow shorelines which are actually fringe coral have the light turquoise blue. Open sea waters turn into blue pacific, the same goes for the bay area, where it's actually quite deep.

Moorea is best explored by car, so let's see where the road takes us next...

Fotazas!
