Just arrived, from a perfect holiday with the perfect companions :__D
When we used to be at Telecom Engineering school (we all have at least MsC - one is PhD on top of it), people used to call us THE ROW (i.e. la fila in Spanish) just because we sat together, at the front row. Few knew that we are all short sighted (yet I'm the only one regularly sporting frames) and willing to pay attention to the lecture. That's why we were right there. Not to piss you all off.
Thing is, we went together through a lot. Broken hearts, exams, terrible lab classes, Blanco mini-skirts, trips to Ibiza and overall, a lot of fun. Meeting these girls, well, it's reason enough to make those 5 years at Uni well worth the tears. Because such a friendship, lasts forever. Indeed, regardless how wonderful your partner is, he will never (and shall never) replace a good GIRL friend. To talk feelings with the same open heart as you talk heels and; make-up, to go shopping, check around or just strike a funny pose. Because, we are worth it.
We may no longer see each other everyday, but we manage to keep in touch daily (via Whatsapp) and personally, with the occasional trip to visit whoever is living abroad at the time being (remember when Laura and Leti came to Japan? It was A LOT OF FUN). Some of us left and came back, some left a long or a short time ago. Skin may have grown thicker, but behind that iron look, we are still the same - just playing stronger as required by the 30-y.o.
Finally... I AM BACK!
