Dicen que no sabemos apreciar lo que tenemos, hasta que es demasiado tarde y lo hemos perdido. Quizás sea así con la belleza que nos rodea, en el barrio, el mercado o simplemente, las sonrisas de la gente al pasar. Supongo que al cambiar de país de residencia, me he hecho más sensible a los pequeños detalles que dan luz a cada día. Probablemente por eso, os dejemos tantos vistazos a la vida de Södermalm. Ese ambiente tan laid-back y cool, que en Verano brilla con su mayor esplendor. Muy buenos recuerdos y una gran nostalgia, que de momento, habrá que saciar a base de imágenes...
Si visitáis Estocolmo, os recomendamos seguir el siguiente walking tour, que empieza más o menos donde está Trädgården y termina en Djurgården (lo dividimos en 2 post para que sea más fácil de ver, encuentra aquí la segunda parte). Nosotros lo hicimos en un día sin problemas (4 horas) así que vosotros también! Eso sí, zapato cómodo y ganas de patear. Hay pocas ciudades que evolucionen de manera tan interesante como ésta (de lo más hipster a lo más posh), con lo que verlo todo en un día, es una buena experiencia.

As humans, we have a tendency to fail noticing the beauty around us. It takes a couple overseas moves to become more aware of it, to start appreciating the cute little things that make everyday shine. It's the busy market, the crisp mornings, the sunsets. The smile of your colleagues or the smell of coffee, while you chill at the Starbucks downstairs. That's why, we cannot shorten the imagery around this mini walking-tour guide. We want to you to feel what it is to be there, to see how Swedes enjoy the summer and the hot days, that others complain about.
If you happen to be in town, invest 4 hours to walk through our steps. Feel the city evolving. From the Hipsters of Årstaviken, through the Kolonilott, up the bridge and down the family life or Norrmälarstrand. Shopping streets around T-Centralen, the shine of Östermalm and the luxury of Strandvägen. Djurgården is a surprise, of green forests, animals, museums and even an Amusement Park. Perfect to catch those precious Golden Hour pictures, before riding a 1900 tram, to rest your tired feet, on the way back. The tour is split in 2, so that you guys can load the gazillion pictures.
