Aruba : California Lighthouse
Lighthouses. There's something bewitching on marking the end of the land and at the same time, the beginning of nowhere. Doesn't matter where you go, regardless it is Formentera or Ishigaki, Lighthouses are always a mesmerizing structure to visit and reflect upon.
Life is a bit like the Ocean, where our comfort zone ends by the lighthouse. To achieve anything you need to leave it behind. Rely on your past having somehow prepared you for the future and sail, with complete focus on what is in front of you. Old tricks are sometimes helpful, but new things are learnt while facing the new challenge. We all need to let go of the past, open up for what's coming. Failure is often the quickest route to achievement and personal growth - to fail means that at least, you tried.
Soon you are far enough. Alone where the lighthouse is no longer of help. Sailing for long enough typically leads up in new lighthouse, an enlargement of your comfort zone. Until the sun sets and marks the time to set sail and let the process start, over and over again.
